Weekly Homework

Your weekly home work is to cook a meal for your whanau ONCE a week. Once you have cooked the meal, get one of your "guests" to sign off your homework note book to prove they have enjoyed it.
This might require you to discuss with your "food buyer" what/how much food you will require to produce your meal. I suggest you plan what you are going to do and how you plan to make it happen - taking into account important points like
cost of ingredients (food costs a lot of money - go with your "food buyer" to see)
time needed to produce the meal so it's ready for everyone (check what other commitments your guests have- work, hobbies/clubs, world of warcraft etc.)
presentation- it should look good
taste- it should be seasoned correctly and taste "true to itself" (fish should taste like fish not batter, vegetables like vegetables not sauces or bland waterlogged shapes)
waste- reduce your waste by reusing as much as you can
